Flinders Street Station, Melbourne c.1914
Flinders Street Station, Melbourne c.1914
This artwork is based on a vintage photograph of Flinders Street Station, Melbourne c.1914 taken by an unknown photographer. It shows the bustling foot, bike, horse and cart, tram and car traffic surrounding the station - all modes of transport which can still be found passing by the station, although perhaps in much higher numbers! The station is shown here in all its splendour having been recently opened about 4 years earlier in 1910.
This canvas print is 40 x 50cm and is made using Epson Stylus Pro 11880 printers and Epson K3 inks, printing in RGB colour space/process. The canvas frame is made from quality kiln dried stretcher bars which are 3cm in depth. The print comes with a hanging wire as well as a spike hook (ideal for mounting on stick on hooks) and is ready to hang on your wall immediately.
This item is a great way to create a colour splash in your home as well as to get your hands on a piece of original artwork, showing one of Melbourne's most iconic buildings.
