Clem Hill, Australian Cricketer, at the wickets c. 1897
This artwork is based on a vintage photograph of Clem Hill (Australian Cricketer) at the wickets c.1897. Drafted into the Australian Cricket Team aged 19 years, Clem Hill went onto captain the team in ten tests and was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame in 2005. The former Clem Hill Stand at Adelaide Oval was demolished in 2012 as part of the re-development of the Adelaide Oval precinct.
This canvas print is 30 x 45cm and is made using Epson Stylus Pro 11880 printers and Epson K3 inks, printing in RGB colour space/process. The canvas frame is made from quality kiln dried stretcher bars which are 3cm in depth. The print comes with a hanging wire as well as a spike hook (ideal for mounting on stick on hooks) and is ready to hang on your wall immediately.
This item is a great way to create a colour splash in your home as well as to get your hands on a piece of original artwork, with a charming oldy-worldy feel, and a great gift for cricket fans.
